There are so many qualities we love about Billy. Summed up, they equal charming. Whenever he sees someone to visit he comes right over: kind and social and just a little bit nosey. He is a Miniature Horse gelding born 6-10-1996. He returned to Equine Aid from a loving home during March of 2016 due to an unfortunate family situation but he hasn’t let the change affect his happiness. The illness suspected by his steward was managed as best she could and he’s since been diagnosed through blood tests as PPID or Cushings Disease. We deeply hope that his new course of treatment, which includes careful oversight, pergolide, and an herbal drench, will allow him to live comfortably for many more years. After much careful consideration after his rehabilitation, we have determined it would be best for Billy to be part of our lifetime sanctuary.
